LIFT’s group fitness classes are always evolving keeping up with the latest fitness trends and newest products. We have the latest and greatest equipment to provide you with the best workouts possible. Our classes promote fat loss, strength, camaraderie, and team effort. Our atmosphere is always energetic and inviting. Our professional instructors are here to coach and inspire you to bring out your absolute best. LIFT Group classes are designed to push people a little bit further than they would normally push themselves in the gym alone. Working in a group will motivate you and create friendships with other fitness fellows.

BootCamp With Jess

Similar to the boot camp classes offered here at LIFT this style will incorporate a military like feel. Focusing on muscular endurance, unit cohesion, discipline, and motivation, all while burning a ton of calories and strength building through intense training. Workouts will be programmed similar to real military training.

Lower Body LIFTing With Robbie

This class is just like it sounds, LIFTing or in other words strength or resistance training. Class is an hour long with one-minute strength stations.

Not sure how to lift weights? Want to learn safe and effective routines? Try this class! You will be coached by a certified professional who will teach you a variety of strength training routines. This class is tailored to sculpt and chisel specific body parts and also increase lean muscle mass. Each class will focus on a specific body part; Legs, chest/triceps, back/biceps, or shoulders. Minimal cardio is performed during this hour long class…just a deep muscular burn!!

Come join Heather for some fun dance routines where fast and slow rhythms are choreographed the latest dance music, to tone and sculpt your entire body while burning fat. Our fitness bootcamp is type of group exercise class that mixes traditional calisthenic and body weight exercises with interval training and strength training. The exercises are typically one minute with minimal rest in between sets. This type of circuit training has been shown to produce major results.

As you maneuver your way through each workout station, you’ll lunge, crunch, bike, and squat for a full body workout. In the end, you’ll leave class feeling exhilarated. You will increase your power, strength and agility with this military inspired circuit workout that will push you to your limits.

Cardio Conditioning With Jess

Cardio conditioning is a progressive class where you will log/record speed, time, or distance. The goal is to improve in all areas every four weeks. This class is designed to help shed that excess fat while increasing endurance. You will perform cardio circuit training on several machines such as the treadmill, assault bike, rowers, ski ergs and finishes with core training and stretching for a complete workout.

“Metabolic Conditioning” is a progressive class where you will record your reps, distance, weight for time. You will repeat 4 different movements/exercises for 4 rounds. You goal is to beat your scores and improve each week. This is a great way to see your strength and endurance increase! “You VS You”

Our class is a 45-minute fat blaster! Tabata features 20 second intervals of intense exercise, followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated eight times. These bursts of intense work will torch calories and strengthen your entire body.

Each exercise in a given Tabata workout lasts only four minutes, but it’s likely to be one of the longest four minutes you’ve ever endured. The structure of the program is as follows:

  • Workout hard for 20 seconds. Rest for 10 seconds. Complete 8 rounds.

Tabata is great to get a quick workout in if you’re short on time, you need to switch up your routine, or you want improve endurance and speed. Incorporate this type of workout into your fitness routine and produce major results.

Step With Heather ($5 Walk-In)

This class is a choreographed routine led by Zumba instructor Heather DeStefano. It is a high intensity class performed on a platform that is raised off the ground. Different rhythms and beats are performed to the latest hip hop music out! Tone your legs, break a sweat & dance a little bit in this class, it is 1 hour of MANY steps! We do provide basic step platforms for our members, if you have your own you are more than welcomed to bring it in! This class is held in our Group Exercise room on Wednesday nights.

Cardio Boxing Class: Who’s ready to turn it up a notch?! Enjoy an intense (1) hour Cardio Boxing class on Thursdays. During this class you will learn basic, fun boxing moves to make sure you SWEAT! In coordination with plyometrics (ex: jumping jacks, mountain climbers, etc.) and various core exercises. We do have a few extra pairs of boxing gloves for members to use, but it is highly recommended if you continue with this class to purchase your own.

Tabata – W.O.D. With Robbie

4 Tabata stations going ALL OUT as hard as you can, followed by a 10-minute WOD (Workout Of the Day) Traditional Tabata is 20 seconds intervals of intense exercise with 10 seconds of rest!! The workout of the day will consist of 3-5 different workouts completed as many rounds as possible within 10 minutes. This class is sure to keep your heart pumping and in the fat burning zone!!!

Barre is a ballet-inspired, workout incorporating ballet techniques used to lengthen and strengthen the muscles while working on balance, stability and improving stamina. Essentially, Barre is a fusion of Pilates, Dance, Yoga and Functional Training. The moves are choreographed to inspiring and motivating music, making for a fun yet intense workout.

This class is a high intensity booty and core crushing workout!! Looking to tone, shape, create, and sculpt a round lifted butt, lean legs, and tight, toned core? This class is sure to produce results. You will perform a series of high rep, high intensity movements that will sculpt the lower half of your body. Each week is different and exciting, and will leave you feeling sweaty and accomplished!
